Mendip Spring Golf Club
celebrated it's 10th anniversary in 2002. The club is situated in the Wrington Vale against a backdrop of
the Mendip Hills and characterised by 12 acres of lakes and
waterways the 18
hole 'Brinsea' championship course and the less challenging 9 hole
'Lakeside' course offer quality golf in idyllic and natural
surroundings.
|
|
Standing above both courses the
Clubhouse retains the character of the 16th century farmhouse
on which it is centred and provides comprehensive bar and
catering facilities for all occasions.
|
|
The club is also
heavily involved in coaching juniors aged 4-16 through the
Young Master Golf Academy scheme. For more information

Pro's Tip: |
|
The big job that you have as a
player is to forget everything but hitting the ball as it should be
hit. The fewer details that intrude upon your mind as you swing the
better. It's the minor details, not the few essentials that tangle
up your swing. The valuable factor of concentration you have heard
great players referring to is simply the capacity of eliminating and
keeping out all disturbing details. MAKE UP YOUR
MIND BEFORE YOU COMMENCE YOUR BACKSWING, THEN LET YOUR MUSCLES DO
THE WORK. |
